I had to give up my sport a long time ago for family reasons so I no longer can compete at the college level even if I wanted to. I have very few clubs, and find myself lounging around my apartment more than not certain days. Me on the other hand.

oh, and IMHO, you best reconsider being too close with someone you dated; that could seriously backfire if he hasn't truly moved on emotionally. good luck with your patient.

Is it there for mental sanity purposes – a time set aside to really let it sink in? If you've already decided you want to spend your whole life with this person, what's the point in promising to promise to marry them? Is this just a period of deciding/saving up for the real, bigger diamond?
