I may probably think that tomorrow morning. I've never lived alone for a significant period of time before. But I'm frittering all of it away being sad about him gone. I still definitely have more time to do my work with him gone. For now though, I don't like it. I used to believe I'd like it, that I'd enjoy having the entire house to myself and not be woken up by him doing stuff. That's so ironic, but I can't seem to snap out of it tonight. There is nothing I can do now that he would not have happily let me do while he was here anyway, I could even have the bed to myself if I wanted or needed it. Well, at least not much.

Or do you live in an efficiency at school? Did you intend that and he just came in your room uninvited? OP what is your living situation. Did you have a living room or other room the guy could have slept in when he began claiming not to know his way home and you offered to let him crash at your place?

If he was truly interested he would not have canceled any chance to see you. Or maybe he cancelled because 1) he had another booty call lined up or 2) he realized you still had feelings and he didn't want to deal with the drama? The talk of maybe having a relationship later is just to keep you on the hook, because he knows you won't have sex with him if he says "yep, I just want to get laid every now and then". This is not a special snowflake situation.
