The problem with the study you chose to cite is that going on a second date with someone after an OK first date and being trapped in a classroom with someone for three months, which is the method the researchers were using, are two completely different things! Surely there's a point at which too much exposure to the same person becomes detrimental, but there's nothing in the study that suggests that a simple two or three hour second date meets that threshold.
