Hi..I am more of a doer than a talker, so instead of a lot of texting chat here upfront would prefer to meet up sooner than later for a casual walk on the beach or hike and some relaxing.

On the other hand, it's pretty fun to talk about some off the wall, crazy stuff too. I find a woman that can have conversations that involve having intelligence to understand very attractive.

So it just seemed he was making up excuses. I asked him a couple weeks later to go to the bar with me and some friends so he could meet them and again he says no, because he a) doesn't like the bar and b) doesn't want to go if he can't drink. This really upset me, because when we first began hanging out, this exact bar is where we would always meetup with our groups of friends. Also, he rarely drank during those occasions!

But you especially should not feel like you have to do that to someone you care about. If that's how you handle most of your disagreements, then this is going to continue being a problem for you.
