Additionally, I wasn't really in the best place to start a relationship myself, as I'd just dumped a guy I'd been in an LDR with for 1 1/2 years, less than a week before my first date with this guy. (Now that I think about it, he himself had been out a relationship for 2 months at most) In some ways, I'm happy it happened- I realize that I was being really clingy, needy, and just generally annoying.

Should i take that as honesty or his attempt to put me down by telling me that he screwed my girl? Okay, let me add some more information to the story. I asked the girl and she admitted to it and I have a strong feeling that she wouldn't have told me herself if the guy never brought it up.
