Yes, the internet is a little bit different than meeting someone in person, and yes, you can tell if you like someone better in person. The internet is a good meeting place for people that are shy, but we need to take it slowwww for the first few dates, because that is where we get to see if the text matches the person. There is probably someone else this guy is seeing. He just wanted sex from her, and that is probably all he wanted. You can't say one location is any different than another. They want you to have a go with the flow/whatever attitude, yet somehow NOT think that they just want easy sex, (which is actually counterintuitive for a woman). In the beginning, I find that guys don't want you to think they want a relationship though. It's a dilemma. Expectations make men uncomfortable.
