It doesn't sound like she feels the same way as you do. In my opinion, where you went wrong was "cuddling on the couch" and "cuddling in bed" without making a move. If things don't work out with her new guy, maybe she'll give you a shot, but I doubt it. That was your opportunity, and you missed it. I'd just back off entirely and go look for another gal, not putting much effort into being friends with this "girl of your dreams" anymore.
