Keep it to a couple of days a week at most. Start not seeing each other as much.

But, in doing so,...just make sure its something you like too,...or atleast can STAND......lol.... Then plan something involving that. That will show that you were thinking of him and the things he likes. Maybe inquire with someone you know that HE knows too about what this guy likes to do. Hobbies,...whatever. He probably would really appreciate your efforts to make your next outting one that surrounds him with things he enjoys, thus,...making him comfortable.

I'm tired of waiting around for him, being lonely, when he is having no problems, having fun on his own. I just feel fed up with him disrespecting me and lying, and I want to experience more of life.

I think that if you have strong feelings for someone and the feeling is mutual, which it is, you shouldn't throw it in the toilet right away, just because you think it "won't work", or "I'm just too old for you." I used to think age mattered, but after meeting him I have completely changed my mind, and I see no age difference. (2 and 6) and he keeps telling me that it'll have to end sooner or later, and it's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all, which I think is just a load of crap. We have an extremely strong attraction to one another, yet he refuses to think with his heart and continues to tell me that it'll never work because he's "too old" for me..
