I'm struggling with this right now and it is very tough to defend my position. I do not think it is appropriate for people to maintain contact with ex's when in a committed relationship with another unless they have children. My marriage ended because my husband wanted to maintain contact with his ex wife whom I knew he still had a thing for. I'm told I'm a control freak and insecure. However, there are certain boundaries when it comes to ex's. Outright banning opposite sex friends is not healthy.
You should say what you feel compelled to say. If this is eating you up (and I think it would bother me in your shoes) you need to do what YOU can to remedy the situation. What you can do is express yourself. Don't hold yourself back because you fear you won't get the reciprocal response you're counting on. You're wondering why your guy doesn't feel the same need, but that's beyond your knowing (or ours). I think that you ought to be guided by how you feel & what you need. You know your feelings and you feel the need to communicate.
But I got along with 4 of them quiet alright so far. I explained to her I'm quite content if she talks to her ex-bf's only if I'm allowed to talk to my ex-gf's and get along with them as friends. My partner asked me how many I've been through, so okay I've had 6 - 8 girlfriends in the past and one of them was my ex-fiancee.
